The quickest way is to message us on WhatsApp or call 604 465 480. You can also email us. We’ll get back to you to arrange your first session and answer any questions beforehand.
We offer both: in-person sessions at our practice in Mijas Costa, and online sessions. We can talk through which option suits your situation best.
We’re in the El Chaparral area, in Mijas Costa (Málaga province), between the Calaburra Lighthouse and La Cala de Mijas — very close to Fuengirola. We’ll send you directions when we confirm your appointment.
A psychotherapy session (adults, child/adolescent, or family) costs €70. Full evaluations — for Autism Spectrum Disorder and for cognitive assessment — cost €300 and include the clinical report. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.
The first sessions are for us to understand your current situation, your relevant history and your needs. From that initial assessment, we agree on goals together and put forward the treatment approach best suited to your case.
No. We work with people whether or not there’s an existing clinical diagnosis — including when someone (or a family) is simply going through a period of distress, feeling stuck, facing conflict, or struggling to cope with certain experiences.
Message us and we’ll help you figure that out. Broadly speaking: Ángela specialises in EMDR, trauma, dissociation, psychosomatic disorders and eating disorders, working with adolescents and adults; Jesús specialises in child, adolescent and family psychotherapy, systemic therapy, and Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluation. Many of these areas overlap and we work in close coordination, so there’s no need to get it exactly right on the first try.
It depends on their age, the difficulty at hand, and the treatment goals: parents may be involved through specific interviews, joint sessions, or parental guidance. That doesn’t mean every session involves the whole family — especially during adolescence, it’s important to also preserve a confidential space of their own for the young person, alongside the collaboration we keep with parents.
We draw on several evidence-based approaches depending on the case: EMDR therapy (particularly useful when past experiences continue to affect the present), emotion-focused approaches, attachment-based interventions, and cognitive-behavioural therapy. We don’t apply a single technique rigidly — treatment is built around each individual or family.
Yes. Psychotherapy is offered in a professional, confidential and safe space, in both individual and family sessions.
