Comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Evaluation

We carry out a specialised clinical evaluation for suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), for children, adolescents and adults.

The evaluation combines a clinical interview and an assessment of current development and functioning with two internationally recognised reference instruments for autism assessment:

  • ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule): an assessment using structured activities and situations that allow us to observe aspects related to communication, social interaction and certain behaviour patterns.
  • ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised): an in-depth clinical interview with parents or family members, aimed at understanding early development and the evolution of traits related to the autism spectrum.

The process usually takes place over 4 sessions, adapted where necessary to each person’s characteristics and needs.

Once the evaluation is complete, we hold a feedback session in which the results are explained and put into context, questions are answered, and guidance is offered on any recommended next steps.

What’s included

The full evaluation includes:

  • Clinical interview and background history.
  • Administration and scoring of the ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
  • Clinical integration and interpretation of the results.
  • Feedback session.
  • A full written clinical report with results, conclusions and recommendations arising from the evaluation.

Approximate duration: 4 sessions.
