I see psychotherapy as a space for understanding what’s going on, how we got here, and what we need in order to move forward differently.
Throughout my career I’ve worked mainly with children, adolescents and their families, supporting them through situations of significant emotional complexity, illness, trauma, grief and family relationship difficulties. That experience has shaped a way of working that pays close attention to a person’s history, their significant relationships, and the context in which their difficulties arise.
My practice draws on several models, including systemic therapy, EMDR, and emotion- and attachment-focused therapies, adapting treatment to the needs of each person and each family.
Rather than working on symptoms alone, my aim is to help people understand what those symptoms mean, support greater emotional regulation, and enable changes that last.
